came damaged waiting too see if manf.will replace damaged item ,or if I have too ship the whole thing back.

This product arrived withing 24 hrs!!!! Two thumbs up for the shipment. It comes in two boxes. I opened both and started taking parts out of the box and spread them all over floor so it would be easier to find them. Two parts came split in the middle-we had to use the Gorilla glue and clamps to have them fixed. I rather do that than ship these heavy boxes back-the splits weren't too bad but needed to be fixed. It took us about an hour to put it together. The instructions, I would give it 4 our ot 5...It took 2 of us to get them right because the picture is too small to see the bottom edges (my hubby would screw these upside down if I didn't chime in). The last 2 pieces of the hutch were the metal latches-each goes on ONE side of the roof-the picture does not really indicate that. It's a big place for our pssum to move in before we let her out back into the wild. Unfortunately the very same day we "moved" the possum to the hutch a bad storm came in. Half of the roof was torn (even though it had that latch) off and so of course possum was horrified of the rain, thunders and lighting. We will put the roof back but since the screws and latch were torn from the rest of the hutch we will have to use the Gorilla glue and clamps again to fix the splitting wall before we can screw the roof back on again. During rainy weather I would definitely suggest to put something heavy on top of the roof. If you will not use the little "attic" for storing food then don't bother with latches and just screw the roof to the walls and screw the middle piece on both sides of the roof-it may save you the trouble of putting it back together later. Our possum lasted 4 days in the hutch before she went back to the wild and now our bunny is living there part time (unless its too hot). I really do like the way it looks!!!! You can email me for pics! Our crazy energizer bunny has plenty of space to run downstairs and she can run up and down the ramp which i am sure she loves. AWEOSME CAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved the cage and so did my rabbits!

We needed a new home for our office rabbit, Velvet. She is a full-sized Rex rabbit and we thought this unit would be the perfect size. We were a little overwhelmed when we opened the box and thought we would be spending days putting the hutch together, but DON'T be deceived, it's incredibly simple. Just lay all the pieces out, and the instructions will take you through step by step, and you will be finished in under an hour... even if working by yourself. NOTE: We are using this hutch INSIDE. If I were to be assembling the hutch for outdoor use, I would probably want to have wood glue with me while assembling the hutch. It appears to be sturdy and great as-is, but I would think the addition of wood glue would give me the peace-of-mind to keep this unit outdoors... The quality is great and Velvet loves it. The ramp and entrance to the upper compartments would maybe be a BIT tight for a LARGE rabbit, but Velvet (8 lbs) fits just fine. The best part about the hutch is that there are no cage bottoms to damage a rabbit's feet. There is no flooring on the bottom and there are removable trays for easy cleaning on the upper level. We are able to fit Velvet's preferred EXTRA large littler box in the top floor, which will have easy access to clean through the hinging roof. There are so many doors, cleaning is a breeze, and the bottom doors have easy access when open for Velvet to cruise in and out when we're in the office. Overall, we are beyond pleased.

My Mom & Dad purchased the 2-story rabbit hutch... to modify just a bit and make it a perfect outdoor getaway for me, Zebulun, a shelter rescue, gray one-year old cat. They placed a pet door in the basement window... cut a hole in the back of the hutch... and made a short little tunnel for me to walk into the outdoor enclosure. Now I have the run of the house, basement and an outdoor play area! I've picked up how to use the flapping pet door... and LOVE laying outside in my hutch in nice weather. Ask your Mom & Dad to make you one!! It was super easy for them to assemble - so we are all very happy with it! Zebby :)

Great hutch, My bunny could run from first floor to second one. Plenty of space to play and hide. The quality is superb.

I honestly loved the cage from the minute I opened the package. Nothing was broken when I opened the box. It was very easy to assemble, it only took about thirty minutes. We have the cage inside so, i dont know how long it would hold up outside. I love the quality except the sliding drawers can be hard to open at times. The roof has an attic that is perfect for storage too. I highly recommend this and it is exactly what we were hoping it would be. A perfect home for our bunny! This is also super easy to clean.
