I have 3 cats (ranging from 4 years old to almost 2), my biggest one is about 11 lbs. I bought this for Christmas for them. Got it delivered Christmas Eve! It was easy to set up - my mom and I put it up in about 10 minutes. My cats have never seen a cat tree before in their lives, so it took them a couple of minutes before they decided to investigate. Last night I found 2 of them sleeping inside of it. So far, so good. The only problem I have with it is that it's wobbly. If any of the cats jump off the top, the cat tree will sway from side to side before it stops. Other than that, it's great. They love playing with the ball and sitting on the hammock. They love sleeping in the bottom box and the scratch post is definitely a plus. I'd definitely recommend it!

The support pole in the middle will not tighten up enough to make this tree sturdy. I have to try to modify it now in order to make it usable. I would not recommend this item.

I have two male cats just over 20 pounds & a 10 pound female. I opened the box & could tell right away that the boys would knock this over every time they jumped on it. Maybe even my little girl. "Flimsy" is all I can say. If you only have kittens to play on this, give it a try. I returned it for a larger, sturdier model. Still love Petco :)

looks cute and all, my cat loved it for the 5 whole minutes he got to play on it, he jumped onto the hammock and it fell over nearly hitting him and snapped in half. I think the design is just poor that's all, but it arrived quickly, and I love petco they were great about letting me return it to the store which was very convenient! I'll continue to buy from them because their customer service is wonderful. Thank you for a smooth transaction on all accounts.

as soon as my cat jumped on top it tipped over and scared him to death! He won.t go near it anymore. sorry but taking back! I think this was meant for kittens, but not large cats.

I've never bought cat furniture before so I was a little nervous to purchase this online without seeing it in person beforehand. I was happily surprised with the quality of the carpeting and scratch posts. It was very durable and not at all flakey. Before I even had the pieces fully out of the box my cat was already inside the base condo nosing around! The cat tree was very easy to assemble and took no time at all. My cat loves to play on all levels and stashes her toys away inside the condo. She is absolutely obsessed with the ball that comes attached to one of the upper levels. I like the little circle that suspends in the air from the top level but it is a little difficult for my cat to turn around in once she's inside it. This has not stopped her from going in there especially when I drag her string toys through it or leave treats for her there. Before purchase I read a few reviews for a similar product and I was a little nervous that this one would not be very stable. When my cat is on the top two levels it does look to be a bit shaky but she doesn't seem to mind. My cat is pretty rough with the cat tree, running from across the room and jumping onto it from a foot away and it hasn't fallen over. So I think it seems to be pretty good quality. For reference my cat is around 8lbs. I am so happy I purchased this cat tree for my kitty. She has a blast playing with it and on it. I love that it gives her the opportunity to climb freely since she is an indoor only cat and it gives her a nice high look out of the living room or whatever room I have it in at the time! I highly recommend this piece of furniture for your cat!
