My Boxer chewed this in about 10 minutes. Might be good for a dog that is smaller.

My dog is an average chewer and a teething puppy, so I wanted something fairly tough. The one I purchased is an updated version of the one on the site because it had three squeakers in it. I would say that the material is pretty durable. The toy has been sewn back and forth over all the surfaces and along the edges, I'm sure to reinforce it. However, the threads snap very easily. Although the toy itself hasn't come apart there are loose strings hanging of it it everywhere. I have to trim them off pretty regularly because I don't want him to swallow them and cause a blockage in his gut. Although my dog likes it, the toy is too high maintenance for me.

This toys is very durable but my 2 dogs are not too interested in it since it doesn't make any noises. It will probably last a long time but my dogs are bored with it and only want to play with the toys that squeak.

Our Labradoodle puppies have yet to break a seam in this toy! They are both teething and chew on anything that might sooth the pain they are probably experiencing. We love this Tuffy toy because it is not only indestructible by light enough that they can carry it around, run with it, or play tug of war. They have taken it in their wading pool and it dries out quickly! Perfect toy for them!

My dog ripped through this "Tuff" toy in 30min after I got home from petco. My dog is 55 lbs and not very strong. So I definitely would not call this a "Tuff" toy by any means. The packaging said this ranked a 9 out of 10 on the tough scale....I would love to see how long a 10 last

Supposed to be "tuff" my Shepard mix torn this to pieces in literally less than 5 minutes.... A waste of money

Within 15 minutes, my 8-month old German Shorthair had chewed through a seam & was ripping out stuffing. 5 minutes later, a squeaker was gone. She does love it, but it's proven to be no tougher than the much cheaper toys we pick up at the checkout aisle or in the drugstore.

My 107 lb GSD loves these toys! Typically he uses them only for fetch games but sometimes chews them as well. I try to direct him to other more chewable toys but he loves the squeaky soft chew qualities of a stuffed toy and this works well. He demolishes normal plush in a minute but if you look for a 9 or 10 Tuff rating on Tuffy's toys they are pretty good. Not Indestructible but lasts lots longer than regular plush!
