I love VIP products as they are very, very sturdy. I was trying to teach my two 1-year old dogs to play with it between themselves but the one dog decided to start defluffing it and before I get it from him he had put a hole it and some of the stuffing started coming out. This has more to do with this particular dog than the toy except that it is an expensive toy(which is worth the money because it lasts a long time as long as you don't have a dog that likes to pull the stuffing out of every toy).

This toy was a replacement for a very similar one, same brand, which lasted about a year before getting a small hole, and I had to take it away from the dogs. Eventually every toy will get frayed or a hole - keep in mind 2 dogs played with this - A VERY hyper & strong border collie mix and a basset hound... so I am very pleased with this brand and have every reason to believe this one will last just as long. The dogs were sad when I took the other one away - and it was a pleasure seeing their excitement when the new one showed up. They played until they were exhausted. Highly recommend! Very large toy, and extremely well made with squeakers throughout.. I'm including two photos of the other, very similar toy.. same brand, just different color & it only has two loops.

With a name like tuffy you would think durability would be realy good. I was greatly disappointed. I bought this last night for about $20 at my local petco. I had this toy for 2 hours before I saw stuffing out of it. After 24 hours it is empty

It's still solid which says a lot because my dog will destroy toys and rip the stuffing out in a few hours but this you is coming unstitched around some edges. I have had the toy for a week.

Very big and tough. I have 2 dogs who grab each end and neither will let go. So far this toy is one of the few that has not been destroyed. Recommended if your dogs are really rough on toys. This one will last!

I needed something my dog wouldn't destroy in 2 min, so I found this and it had a high rating as far as "toughness" goes, so I thought this would be a great toy for her. I didn't realize how big it would be. It's a huge toy, but it is super durable and she seems to enjoy playing tug, so I'm giving it a thumbs up for sure :)

Tuffy "red paw print" toys are fantastic. GREAT for major chewing dogs.

This has been a great toy for our lab mix, she is a chewer! It took her about 15 minutes before she had her first hole in it, but it has a ton of stuffing in it and she keeps going back to make another hole to get to the squeakers! Would recommend, great tug toy too.
