This dimensions of this one would be better suited for a single mouse or a dwarf size hamster. Maybe even for one animal it could be considered too small to house one in for their short lives. The inside dimensions should always be given for any cage for any animal because that is important. That is the space the animal actually gets. The inside dimensions for this cage are about 13.75" L x 7.75" W. The wheel is 5.75" in diameter. The water bottle spout should be longer than it is because it may be too short at lowest setting on this cage if the bedding is an inch thick or less or if just a few sheets of paper are used. The one I got had a dis attached or broken wire and I had to bend out some of the wire hooks to assemble it. There were some other imperfections.

This is a great cage for my mouse with one exception. The wheel is awful loud. I have to take it down every night to be able to sleep.

My robo hamster Tinkerbell has been living in this cage for a few months now. Here's what I can tell you: It's a good cage for the price point. I knew from past experience that the only acceptable wheel to use is the silent spinner so I can't say whether or not the wheel that comes with this is quiet. The water bottle has worked perfectly for me - not sure why others had a problem with it. My hamster loves the second story shelf as well. My only problem with this cage is how deep the base is. Tinkerbell is constantly pressing her nose against the wires and standing on her toes to try and see the outside world - and this is AFTER I put 5 inches of bedding in it. Truthfully, this cage is a bit small too. By the time you add a hut, wheel, and the tube that connects to the shelf, there isn't any run around room. I purchased the Ware Small Animal Critter Cage on Petco.com which has a thin base and double the length so hopefully that will work better for us.

It's perfect for my Dwarf Hamsters. They have plenty of room to run around and I love the second level...The wheel isnt silent but thats not a problem because they do not sleep in my bedroom. The water bottle leaks and it's very small so i dont even use it . I replace it with an 8oz water bottle instead. Overal, I like it. great size, doesnt take up so much room and easy to put together and clean.

This cage is a very good size I have a teddy bear hamster and she loves it. But I would like to get a cage to match my paris bedroom themes please if you have any ideas where to get a pink and black cage just right a review answering.
