Flimsy....

The blade on this item is so thin and flexible that the slightest pressure makes it twist to the side, making it almost useless for removing an old undercoat. I guess I'll have to go online to find a good sturdy shedding blade from a horse tack shop (The last one of those I had lasted for over 40 years - this Petco product is so flimsy that I don't think it will last through the spring.)

I purchased this to use on my Chesapeake Bay Retriever, during the summer he needs to be brushed 3 times a week and his old brush finally gave out after 7 years, this broke within the month. The one side completely sheared the metal off and there is no fixing it. Very disappointed in the product and it is hard to find a good brush for his coat now.
No, I do not recommend this product.
