I started using Wellness brand when one of my dogs had some constipation problems with Iams. I had an acquaintance at the time who was knowledgeable about those things and she recommended it. It's pricey but it's worth it.

I've had my English Bulldogs on this food for years and they have done very well on this food. The only downside is the "fish breath" but it is worth it to have healthy pets.

My dog is allergic to everything and I do mean everything! This product has been the only one we have used that has eliminated her taking a lot of medication to control the smell, itching, infections, etc. My dog doesn't even go to a dermatologist anymore! Glad we stumbled on this after about 5 years of trial and error.

My 4 1/2 year old pit bull suffers from chicken allergies. A relative suggested I try the Wellness-whitefish and sweet potato dry food. She has been on it now for 6 months and I could see within the first couple of weeks her fair skin has cleared up.

My vet advised me to change the dogs diet to whitefish/sweet potatoes. This change would help with their allergies and skin problems. This definitely helped with the problems and they have had no problems any more.

What Wellness brand will be best for my dog?

  1. If these symptoms are due to a food allergy then I would try the wellness food. They have a few different blends.

Is this type of food ok for my a 4 pound Yorkie

  1. Pick one of there formulas for small dogs, mine are Shih-tzus and they do great on Wellness

Is it ok for a senior dog to have adult food vs senior???

  1. I have been told to just feed the older dog less and keep them on the same food. I have a fifteen year old and I do not feed her the senior formula. I feed her the fish and sweet potato formula.
