My cats love this product. I give each a squirt in their food each day. No gasto issues at all. Their coats showed improvement within 2-3 weeks. No dry skin anymore and their coats are sleek and shiny. The older cat (18 years) wants a couple of drops in all his dry food as well.

Yes, I recommend this product.

We started giving our puppy Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil at his breakfast meal each morning, squirting it over his dry food. He goes to town on it, and the results are incredible. His coat is shiny and beautiful. I would recommend this product highly.

My dog is a very picky eater - and this is the only salmon oil she likes (after trying others). Even my son, who is not a dog lover, noticed the difference in her coat after only one week! Great product.

Yes, I recommend this product.

This is a fantastic addition to my dogs diet. I originally purchased a small bottle in the local PETCO, a few pumps in his meal and viola, his coat is soft and shiny and LESS SHEDDING. I purchase the largest bottle and just use it to refill the smaller bottle that is kept on the counter with the dogs necessary items. This product is great, and is original WILD Alaskan salmon oil not from farm raised. I prefer liquid ILO pills it gets into the animals system faster and just add to his mealtime.

Yes, I recommend this product.

We have a English Mastiff that is sensitive to most dog foods...so it is important to supplement. We use liquid supplements personally and to find this very important one for pets is great... Recommend it highly Barb

This is a wonderful product! I have a Walker Hound who had a real problem with a dull coat and the loss of hair on his tail. He has been taking Alaskan Oil supplement for about four months and the difference is amazing! He has a nice shine to his coat, and the hair on his tail is growing back! Love this stuff, Patricia

Yes, I recommend this product.

Questions

Am I able to give this to my dog daily?

  1. Yes, the recommended dosage is to be given to your pet once per day.

Is this oil tested for mercury? If so, what is the mercury content?

  1. We regularly test our wild salmon oil for heavy metals and PCBs as required by FDA and NASC regulations. In all the years of producing our own oil in Alaska, we have not seen any analysis with measurable contents of mercury, cadmium or lead. The PCBs can be detected by the most sophisticated lab methods only, and then in extremely low amounts, way less than allowable in human foods. Using only wild caught salmon from Alaska makes testing a little bit of a formality; unlike farmed salmon oils, which usually have measurable amounts of everything.

how much daily for 100+ lb. dogs

  1. The recommended number of pumps to use for 100+ lb. dogs is 5 pumps per day.

is there a fishy smell to the Salmon oil suppliment?

  1. No fishy smell detected by us but the cats much surely smell it. They eat anything (dry or wet) that we add drops or squirts.

I need a large container of the salmon oil, can I buy the one listed for Dogs & use on cats? The ingredients are the same.

  1. Hi, yes you can use the salmon oil labeled for dogs for your cats - the oil is the same, but don’t show the label to your cat!

I need to know how to store the Wild Alaskan Salmon Fish Oil for Dogs~ Does it need to be refrigerated in between use?

  1. I store at room temperature and have had no issues with this. We go thru a bottle in a couple of months so if it were a problem - we'd know.

will this work for puppies

  1. Yes, mix double the amount recommended into their food on a daily basis. When the scratching & itching subsides, you can return to the recommended amount or you may want to stay at the higher amount. It can't possibly harm them but it sure can help.
