This bowl is adorable and just the right size for my cockatiels; I had intended on using it in their travel cage because it would be great for holding treats for our trip without them spilling everywhere. The biggest problem is that it doesn't have the traditional wingnut and bolt setup that other bird toys have to keep it securely on the cage. It has these awful plastic rungs that you shove in between the bars to "lock" in place. It doesn't fit their travel cage or even their regular cage's bar spacing, and honestly I'm not sure what kind of cage this could be used with. I'm guessing 1/4 inch bar spacing or less is what this is meant for...but the packaging has a picture of a conure on it, so I assumed that it was meant for larger birds (cockatiels, conures) with large sized cages.
