When purchasing your lamps make sure you check the wattage maximums. I wanted to use the smaller lamps but were not up to the wattage standards I was planing on using. Don't see where I could go wrong with a light and a clamp.

Is this product save to sit directly on top of screen with a 75 watt or 150 watt bulb?
- Yes. The main thing is making sure that it is secure and not able to be knocked off.

Does the 6" work with the Zilla tropical coil bulbs
- Thank you for your question LiseG. This is not recommend. It will physically fit but it doesn’t leave enough breathing room between the base of the bulb and the side of the dome. This reduces the life of the coil bulb and creates a fire hazard. 8.5” domes and larger are recommended for the coil bulbs.
