sizing was perfect and love the vibrant green color. Every other store I check in did not sell carpets of this size and I would have had to piece together several smaller ones if it weren't for me finding this one! My dragon seems to love it too

Yes, I recommend this product.

I love this stuff. When it is dirty just go out and clean it. take about 10 mins to gravity dry or just give it a few thrashes and it is dry. I use this for my Ball Pythons. Looks better than Aspen Bedding and with the right sized water bowls no humidity problems

Yes, I recommend this product.

I have found this works well in my tortoise feeding area as he was getting sand in his food. I switched to this and the alfalfa meal bedding in his "cave". He seems happier with this combination.

Yes, I recommend this product.

So , I've previously had my adult bearded dragons on a sand substrate and I wasn't satisfied with it . First of all when you first put sand into a terrarium it gets all over the place and is messy.Secondly I would have to go through it to clean the dragons droppings and that was way to much work. Lastly my dragons are messy eaters so the food would end up covered in sand and that's a no no . Once I bought the Zilla green reptile terrarium liner all these problems went away. This product reduces the mess you will have in the cage as well as time and effort you will put in to clean it . The best factor is that none of my dragons food ends up covered In sand anymore and it adds a nicer display factor to my terrarium . I give this product a five pal rating/review because it is that good! This product made my life easier and my bearded dragons don't seem to mind the difference.:)

Yes, I recommend this product.

I unfortunately have a larger size tank, so I have issues trying to get a big enough carpet. My beardy is my baby. I've kept him on carpet forever. The green is fine, but the brown is either out or not being made enough of. Otherwise, it is a great product.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Would this be a good substrate for a Crested Gecko?

  1. Yes, this would be a fine substrate for a Crested Gecko. Another great substrate would be Coconut Husk Bedding (SKU: 1238507), this would help with keeping moisture and would also help to look more natural in this habitat.

The exo terra moss mat was accidentally chewed on by my whites tree frogs, when trying to eat crickets.

  1. The Zilla terrarium liner is specifically designed for baby animals that might accidentally grab the substrate while eating. This is designed to protect against digestion problems that result from this. I would not be concerned about a frog being able to tear off a piece of the Zilla brand terrarium liner as it doesn't have pieces of material that stick up like other brands. My only hesitation is that it is not designed for holding up the humidity that tree frogs require. A better choice may be to use the Zilla Beaked Moss (natural product collected from wetlands in the Pacific Northwest). This is a substrate that I have used for years with Whites tree frogs, among other frogs.

Would this be safe to use with a hedgehog?

  1. I would not use the terrarium liner for a hedgehog. It is synthetic fiber and is not digestible. If the hedgehog eats enough of it in a sitting it will block its intestinal tract.

how often to change the carpet and how many times can be reused before yoy buy a new one?

  1. It can be reused alot i have had mine for over a year. as long as it is sound. and cleaning just a good anti bac soap and rinse well and let dry about 10 to 15 mins outside in the sun ready to go again

Should i use lights or pads for heating in my leopard gecko home?

  1. you will need both a heating pad for under the tank and a heat lamp on top of the tank

What about Box Turtles?? Will they be okay on it??

  1. i have my turtle on bark chips and he seems to like it because he can borrow into them so wood chips would be my opinionbut now im thinking about doing half chips and half cart so he get absorbed water and borrow

I want to put it at the bottom of my turtle tank, can it but put in underwater 24/7?

  1. yes you will just have to clean it every sunday (once a week)
