Not my favorite moss to buy for my hermit crabs but it gets the job done helping to boost humidity.

I have a 30 gallon tank and one package will just about cover it. My red tail boa loves it! I put repti-bark on the very bottom of his cage, and put moss on top. He loves to burry up underneath the moss. Both hold moisture well!

Yes, I recommend this product.

I use this product all the time. It is a staple in my crested and gargoyle gecko tanks. Not only does it help to bump up the humidity for them, but it also provides a slight cushion for a clumsy crestie. I always hear mine thunking around in her tank, but I am happy knowing there's always gunna be that soft landing pad on the ground for her. The moss is an extra bonus when she deciding to start laying dud eggs (never been with a male) when she was still too small. Helped to fix and prevent future egg-binding. To make a long story slightly longer, I would never consider cleaning and refurnishing my animals' homes without a nice supply of this moss on hand!

Yes, I recommend this product.

I got this to raise the humidity for my ball python. If you mist the moss once a day, the humidity stays at about 60% which is perfect! Great for aquariums where its hard to maintain humidity!

Yes, I recommend this product.

My red eft (look it up people) absolutley loves this moss. It looks great and Orange Juice Burrows in it all the time. You should put some dirt under it if you have an under tank heater though. I never go anywhere else!

Yes, I recommend this product.

This product works very well, you can use it on the sides of a water bowl so that a snake can get in it, or put it in the water so that your pet gets wet, but won't drown. Or you can maybe use it for unique jobs.

Yes, I recommend this product.

can terrarium moss be used for the wet or dry side of the tank?

Can this be used for a ball python?

    1. A clump of it in a humid hide would do just fine, but I wouldn't use it as the actual substrate. Get something like aspen bedding for that.
