I am not one to typically do a review, but this one, I felt I needed to. Trust me, not worth it...unless you have a gallon of spring water to waste daily and risk flooding out your little critter. The drip either ran too fast or not at all. Not dependable at all. I even took it back to the store, had them adjust it...took it home, left it as they had it and it still only worked like an hour at a slow drip and then right back to the same old. I ended up buying an automatic mister (monsoon) and am taking this tub of plastic back! Trust me, not worth it AT ALL.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Not worth the trouble, the habba mist works very nicely is very nice not having to worry about giving my chameleon water 4 times a day.

I purchased the Little Dripper to add humidity to my son's Brown Anole tank. As I looked at the previous reviews, I noticed the water control was an issue and looking at the other more expensive options, I wanted to give this a try. The only problem I have is the ability to set a regular slow drip that will provide enough humidity, but not completely stop or to add too much water and create a swamp at the bottom of the tank. The control valve is basically a ball valve and doesn't have the ability to regulate the dripping. I'm going to order a "Hoffman Tubing Clamp" and see if that will allow me to have more control over the drip rate. The benefit of being able to have a regular source of moisture and not having to worry about a lack of humidity and moisture source still outweight the issues that I've had with setting up the drip rate.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Little Pourer

I bought this for my chameleon, because I thought it would better than my cheap hole-in-the-bottom-of-the-cup long term. The lady at the pet shop did tell me that because of verying atmospheric pressure, from day to day I would need to adjust the valve. The product looked cool, but I worried about how strong the hanger on the lid would hold up to the weight of the water. The little hose kept popping off when I was trying to figure out how to hang it in his enclosure. I fooled around with this thing for hours and hours. It would either pour water out or not drip at all. I needed to get a drip that would drip water out every minute or every 5 seconds or so. I managed to get a very fast drip going, which I wasn't satisfied with, but I thought it would be alright. I went out and came back and the little dripper was empty and water was everywhere. It must have decided to return back to the "pour" level. After playing around with it for the rest of the night, I decided to just put the cup back on top of his reptarium. I returned the little dripper, because the cup works very very well. It drips water out as fast as I need it, and I don't have to worry about it suddenly pouring water out. Whenever I want the water to last longer, I just fill the cup with ice-cubes. Problem solved!

No, I do not recommend this product.

It works, but not what I needed

I purchased this product to aid in the humidity in my hermit crab tank. I had issues with the valve that controls the water flow...it seemed to be either all the way on or completely off, no middle ground. Perhaps I just got a defective one. It also didn't boost my humidity like I wanted. Perhaps this would be better for an actual reptile that licks droplets of water, rather than hermit crabs.

Yes, I recommend this product.
