I bought this product so that my milk snake could be kept warm day and night. My old fixture was bulky and not very easy to use. I love that this fixture has very easy on/off switches for EACH side. I love that it's relatively small.

I purchased this online to use with my uvb bulb but didnt notice it said mini deep dome, when you open it the instruction say you can use it with a compact uvb bulb but you cant so I will be returning it, works great with regular uva bulbs though

I've had this Dome combo for almost a year now and have had zero problems. It has a separate plug for each dome which is great if your using day/night heating on a timer. Only 2 things to note: 1. It wont point straight down if using a single hook lamp stand. The weight of the bulbs makes it point at a 45 degree angle. 2. when changing bulbs, the bulb socket comes loose but can easily be re-tightened

I bought this light fixture combo for my Russian Tortoises and can honestly say that I love it. There are no downsides once you get it hooked up, the only thing is that if you buy this then you should know that setting it up will be incredibly difficult if you don't have the lamp stand or a home made lamp stand (making one is easy though). Overall a great product!

These are a good depth for the UVB cfls and the Heat emitting ceramic lamps. They are a much cleaner appearance that the wally world cheapo fixtures and much easier to manage. Worth the cost and the stand help with correct positioning side to side as well as height.

I really like this product because it eliminates the need for those extra long UVB fluorescent lights that are so expensive with their fixtures. It's not too small, not too big so that's good. However, i find it annoying that it has two electrical outlets and not 1. :/ at least it has 2 on/off switches as well

Yes, you can use it with any lights, water pumps, heaters, etc.. You don't even have to use for animal stuff if you don't want to. This will work with any household items you want to regulate, really handy!

Can I set the lights directly on the screen of my 48inch repibreeze open air cage? The stand isnt tall enough to hang the light.

Yes you can, as long as the bulbs you use do not extend past the dome housing. I used it on the screen of my 40g breeder.
