We bought 4 pieces all were excellent quality but two of the four were significantly smaller than the advertised size. It would be better to select them in person but the store nearby only stocks one piece at any time.

The Cork Flat is a great way to add some dimension and more climbing room to your reptile's enclosure. Having an aboreal species, I lean it against a tank wall, providing a climbing surface but also a vertical hide underneath it. A great product

I purchased a medium size cork half log about a month ago for a Chinese water dragon that I have had. It works as a great shade / hiding place. It looks really nice with the rest of the decor and has held up really well. There are a few problems you may have with this product: First off the product is natural and made of cork and is prone to flaking. This will cause a small mess. Secondly if you feed your reptile crickets you will find that they will burrow into the cork for hiding places. This also causes more of the first problem. If you remove this during cleaning I would recommend giving it a good shake to remove any insects that may have made a home in it. Last is the fact that this is natural and is almost impossible to clean without destroying it. I have cut small bits off of mine just for this reason.
