I didn't expect to get a 'duplicate' like is shown in the picture, but I did expect it to be a complete hollow log. It is a nice size, and is actually a nice addition to my hamsters cage to add texture, a chew-able product and some aesthetics, but I gave it 3 paws because I had plans to make it a hanging addition, because I assumed it would be complete. At least it has potential as a nesting area.

I bought this for a tank decor for my leopard gecko and it was not as pictured i know not all pieces will come out perfectly but it was practically missing a whole half and was alot smaller than i thought it would be.

When it arrived it was already cracked open and broken, so right there its not very sturdy. I bought it for my hognose snake as he loves slinking through tunnels and hides, but this is the first item he hasnt really touched. I've seen him climb over it once, havent seen him actually go through it at all. It looks good in his viv but he never uses it.

This is a great way to provide your pet with an all natural hide and it absorbs water pretty well which helps keep up the humidity. Great and awesome product.

- As a baby, yes, but it isn't something that they can have in their environment long term.

how big of a turtle can fit through this?
- I wouldn't put this with any turtle because it isn't a straight shot or completely uniform throughout like pvc would be. They are more than likely going to get stuck going through this. If you want something like this I would go with PVC for them and get the biggest one you can for the space they're in because if they grow you don't want them getting stuck either.
