Not diggin' the pink
I didn't realize these bulbs were pink. They're suppose to be beneficial to my planted tank, but they're so dim, it barely gives a pink hue to my tank. I don't understand how such dim light can be feeding my plants. I have to add another lamp of white bulbs just to see what's in my tank.
Attached is a photo which shows my tank with a second white bulb lamp. My water is slightly tinted already from tannin in my log. The other pic is with only the brand new ZooMed pink bulbs.
No, I do not recommend this product.

will a flourescent bulb for aquarium plant growth fit any hood with a flouresent bult?
- Besides ensuring the same length, you have to make sure the new bulbs are the same watt as the lamp was made to carry. You cannot put a higher watt bulb into a lamp that is meant for lower watts.
