I Can't Believe It!

I have two birds, a Goffins Cockatoo and a Green Winged Macaw. They are 16 and 14 years old, respectively. They've had a mostly seed diet all of their lives and we have decided to wean them off of this and go with a pelleted diet. I thought we were in for a very long and weary challenge. Much to my amazement, based on tips I've read here, we tried pretending to eat them and making "Yummy" sounds, etc. They took this new petted food from ZuPreem and they LOVE IT! Now they can have a few seeds and nuts for treats only. I highly recommend this diet to all of the larger bird fanciers.

Plain Zupreem, shaped and dyed. FIDS aren't fooled!

My birds hate this garbage. They throw it as far as they can! They loved the Avian Entrees, so, of course, the company stops making them. Been using Zupreem for 20 years, but I'm done with their cruddy, plain food that is shaped and dyed a little different. Bring back the Entrees!!

No, I do not recommend this product.

green "beans" are favored

My parrot will eat the dark green "beans" first, then the small green and yellow balls. He won't touch the "carrot" discs. He's just a very picky bird, but he really likes the green beans.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I recently purchased these as another option for my small parrots. I wish these came in a smaller size. I break them into small pieces.

High Quality, High Waste

Bought this for my Senegal in hopes I could transition him away from a less nutritious brand he had been used to. I had some degree of success, but I noticed that he preferred the orange/"carrot" pellets, either picked at or flung the green/"green bean" pellets into his water dish/cage tray, and he wouldn't eat the yellow/"corn" pellets at all. Breaking the green down into more manageable sizes didn't really help, either. Good quality, but just not my bird's cup of tea. Onto the next variety!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great for my Grey

My CAG loves this food. Her favorite pieces change daily, but typically she goes crazy for the orange "carrots" as soon as I put the bowl in her cage. Even when she's out of the cage, she knows when it's meal time and goes straight for this food. I feel comfortable knowing that this food is vet approved (even by my own vet), and that I'm giving my Grey some of the best pellet food she can eat.

Yes, I recommend this product.
