Bird Litter and Liners

If you’re a bird pet parent, you know that cleaning up after them can sometimes be a surprising amount of work. They can get their cage quite messy pretty quickly. Bird cage litter and bird cage liners are essential products for every bird household. They make bird cage cleaning faster and easier, all while maintaining a cleaner and healthier environment for our feathered friends.

Bird litter is important for absorbing bird droppings—it minimizes odor and makes cleaning easier. Liner for bird cages goes underneath the litter and makes it easier to pull out and throw away old litter all at once. Petco carries many varieties of bird cage bedding and bird cage bottom liners.

The best bird litter is generally made from compressed lumber or paper by-products. There are also litters made from other products, such as dried and crushed walnut shells or corn cobs. They are super absorbent, help control odors, minimize dust and free from artificial additives.
