Purchased for my large rabbit who lives inside my home. Controls urine odor and is absorbent. I used to mix with wood pellets, thinking this was more affordable. It's not. Just messier to change. I use 2 scoops of this in her litterbox, which is a dishpan, and put some hay on top. The dishpan works best, because she is standard size and the rabbit litter boxes, even the XL, were too small for her. I do clean her litter box frequently, rinsing with 50% vinegar, 50% water The 50:50 vinegar is effective in eliminating any ammonia odor from her urine. The large bag of this lasts for months.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I used to think that newspaper was the only thing you needed for the bottom of the bird cage..that is until my son told me about corn bedding.. It's easy to use, and the birds like to munch on it from time to time.

It is totally safe for my birds and allows them to run around the bottom of the cage foraging for little pieces of millet. By making it possible for my birds to use the bottom of the cage it increases their living space.

I use this litter all the time in my Conure's cage bottom. I happened to run out and used newspaper as a replacement. Never again. The little monster spent the evening shredding the paper and making a bigger mess than I had cleaned out of his cage earlier that evening!! As soon as I find a way and place to store it, I'm buying the biggest bag available!!

Yes, I recommend this product.

The product I currently use is measured in cubic inches. How many cubic inches is 25 lbs?

  1. 25 pounds is 692 in3 / cu in The pounds amount 0.087 lb converts into 1 cu in - in3, one cubic inch. I believe this can be refined based on what is being weighed, e.g. sand, water, concrete.

I have 2 questions. Do you place this directly in the tray? Do you take the grill out so your birds can walk and sleep directly on this litter?

  1. i don't allow my birds to eat or nest in the corn cob bedding, that is where their waste falls

Would the 24" 20,000 bulb fit the Coralife 30" quad T5HO light fixture?

  1. Thank you for your question jwandli13. The bulb that you are referencing is a T8 style bulb while the fixture is a high-output T5. T8's & T5HO are not cross-compatible. Also if you have a 30" fixture you would want to use a 30" bulb as the Coralife fixtures are designed for the bulb to run the full length of the aquarium. You can use the following in your 30" Coralife T5HO light fixture: 1273019 - 10,000K 30" T5HO lamp 1273094 - Actinic 30" T5HO lamp 1273124 - 6,700K 30" T5HO lamp 1273116 - Colormax 30" T5HO lamp
