Nanday Conure Loves

Emme

I use these as “tweet treats” for my Nanday Conure who is 24 years old. He loves them—like he starts doing a little dance when he hears the rustle of the bag. I space them out throughout the day; I usually give him one or two in the morning to start his day off right, one or two throughout the day as rewards, and one or two at night for a midnight snack. The only downside is that sometimes they crumble in the bag. Not a problem for my Conure, he devours it even if it’s just the crumbles going into his dish. I don’t like it as it’s hard to know how much I’m giving him. He likes them so much, still gets 5 stars even with the crumbles.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Senior Berries

Our 8 year old Cockatiel loves Nutri-Berries so I decided to give these a try. These are a bit larger than the Classic Nutri-Berries, but he just picks them up and devours them just the same. Nice to have a product that targets the aging pets changing needs.

Yes, I recommend this product.

sometimes the Nutri-berries are soft, and other times they are hard and crumbly. I prefer them on the soft side for my 40yr old Senegal. especially since they went up in price.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Not the best LaFeber product we've used.

My conure does enjoy his NutriBerries. He's now 22, an age I would consider to be "Senior", so I tried the Senior NutriBerries. The Macaw size was too large for him, and seemed quite hard and brittle. I tried the conure size. This batch just falls apart; some are not even nuggets. My bird does not like tiny seeds, and he (like me!) hates raisins! I'll try one more batch. If that one holds together, fine. If not, I won't buy more. It isn't the Drs F&S's fault. It's LaFeber.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Lafeber's Senior Bird Nutri-Berries Parrot Food

My birds are picky, but they immediately took to these seed balls. The product was recommended by our Vet. The senior food had less fat content, plus had the herbs, and helped our birds recover from a mild case of fatty liver disease - a condition not uncommon when birds eat a diet with too many high-fat nuts. The price is reasonable and a 10 oz bag lasts almost a month for one bird, at the rate of 4 - 8 seed balls a day.

Yes, I recommend this product.

My parrot loves these nutriberries. I use them to get him back into his cage. An added bonus to his regular diet. I think he likes the different textures and flavors. I buy him several different varieties.

Yes, I recommend this product.
