One of the few treats with stable vitamin C

OskarSP

This treat has stable vitamin C in it, but it also has cane molasses (aka added sweetener) which is NOT recommended for guinea pigs. That said, my guinea pigs initially enjoyed this treat, then lost interest after I'd used it as a daily supplement (1 tab per pig) for a few weeks. When they'd gone for a few months without it and I reintroduced the treat, they began fighting over it again! Yay!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Worried they wouldn't like it

I knew my piggies could use more vitamin C but they are not big fans of green pepper. I decided to try these but was a little concerned they might not like them after reading all the other reviews. THEY LOVE THEM! Will definitely be buying them some more. And the price is great compared to my local pet store.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I have 4 guinea pigs and they love these vitamins. I just give them one each every morning and I don't have to worry about a vitamin C deficiency. It's much easier than having to count drops and worry about how much water they drink or food and hay they eat.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Pigs love Oxbow products

Vitamin C is important to the health of the guinea pig. Oxbow Vitamin C is always fresh and my pigs love the tablets. Each pig gets one tablet every morning, placed on top of their daily ration of Oxbow pellets. They reach in, grab their tablet and run to their hut to enjoy in private. Pigs don't like to share.

Yes, I recommend this product.

My guinea pigs seem to enjoy these very much. I have always been impressed with Oxbow products. Great quality and my guinea pigs eat these right up. A little on the high end price wise but I think they are worth it to keep my babies happy and healthy.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I totally endorse Oxbow products in general. I am convinced that giving my elderly guinea pig daily vitamin C and joint health supplement tablets was responsible for her being the oldest and healthiest guinea pig I have ever had (and I have enjoyed having gp's as pets off and on for my entire life)! Purdy lived to be 7 years, 7 months on a diet of strictly Oxbow hay and pellets (and fresh food when I was preparing it for my family), as well as the supplements during her last two years or so, and was healthy and enjoying life until her last three days! Also, her supplement tabs were the highlight of her day! =) I might also mention that Drs. F&S often has sales on the supplements, including free shipping.

Yes, I recommend this product.
