My kitten loves this food! The problem is, the adult cats and dogs do too, so I have to try and separate her to feed her for now as this food is so expensive I don't want to feed it to the entire household! One thing I noticed right away is that my kitten's coat looked very nice and shiny. The organization I adopted my kitten from recommended this food.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I started my kittens on Science Diet, but when that ran out, I tried Royal Canin. My 9 month old kitten has a lot more energy and is responding really well. I definitely would recommend this food over Science Diet.

Yes, I recommend this product.

started a litter of homeless kittens,no mother cat, maybe 4 1/2 weeks old on this food along with milk replacement and they are growing like weeds and doing extremely well. Better than other products I have used for tiny kittens. the very small size of the kibble is one reason - they eat what they can and they cannot eat big pieces of food ! good job royal Canin

Yes, I recommend this product.

Questions

1 - 3 of 3 Questions

Why does the pack look different and did the name change?

  1. I used to buy Kitten 36 consistently. However, this new "Kitten" variety has changed a little from Kitten 36, but maybe for the better. All of the five cats in our house are eating it heartily (possibly more so than the Kitten 36), and their health remains very good.

can I feed my kittens (5 and 6 mos old) Royal Canin dry food only?

  1. You should DEFINITELY feed wet food also! We feed our babies wet food in the morning and evening (6am and 6pm) and they have a high quality mix of 4 dry foods (free feeding)

Feeding kitten food to a 3 yr. old?

  1. I've been feeding Kitten or Kitten 36 for a couple of years to five cats, none of which are kitten age. In fact, they range from 5 to 17 years of age. They are all healthy and have been eating this food just fine. None are obese, and the younger ones are quite active. I have pretty good faith in Royal Canin products, better than other brands.
